F it. not my circus not my monkeys anymore.
Way too few baskets, both civilian and military. For too long we have operated on the assumption that only a limited conventional force was necessary because if it ever got that bad, we'd go nuke. But nuclear bombs are now almost 80 year old technology and more and more nations are getting them. Which sort of puts conventional forces back into play. And cheap technology is trumping expensive technology. Using a half million dollar missile to take down a $50k drone is only a win in the sense that the drone could have done more than a half million dollars worth of damage, but it gives a whole new dimension to asymmetric warfare.

Not my circus or monkeys anymore either unless they do a pretty in depth recall to active duty.
