Lots of great minds, unique ideas, eloquent word play, and aggressive attitudes displayed by many on this forum. If they are willing to be on the negotiating team next time around, maybe we can make all the gains we deserve. Reminds me of the old trope “be the change you wish to see”. The way many of you talk, I would kill to have you negotiate on my behalf.
IMO this TA is the best SWAPA could do with the talent at hand. It is far from the dream TA we all wanted, but still we will all die rich men.
Trust me, SWAPA would vomit me out if I applied to serve on the NC
because of the sorts of ideas I have written about here extensively in the past. If that doesn't make sense to you, go on TOF and read our former president's long multi-pointed post back in Sep 2022.
In your opinion, "this TA is the best SWAPA could do." It's not.
If you don't trust me, search for my posts under my username. I have written quite a few very long and very detailed explanations with FACTUAL information and real-life case law, not opinion, to substantiate my positions.
Again, though, it's a moot point. This TA will pass overwhelmingly. It's a bit tragic, though, that this pilot group could not get their minds wrapped around the concepts needed to leverage the RLA effectively. We could have hit the home run.
But life goes on. And hey, crypto is pumping again.
