To clarify, it’s 25 years for qualify for fee-waived first class pass travel. To qualify for normal flight benefits, as others have said, is based on age at retirement and years of service.
- 45 - 50 years of age and 20 years of service
- 51 years of age and 18 years of service
- 52 years of age and 16 years of service
- 53 years of age and 14 years of service
- 54 years of age and 12 years of service
- 55 years of age and 10 years of service
- 65 years of age and 5 years of service
NOTE: The policy for United pilots hired before Dec. 1, 2011, remains in effect. This policy permits these pilots to attain retiree pass travel privileges if they are at least 50 years old with at least 10 years of service or if they are at least age 60 with five years of service.
Fee waived first class after 25 years of service. Does that apply to eligibles too, enrolled friends?
