SkyWest did not go to CAL, CAL went to SkyWest. Larry is probably in a hurry to get this deal done, if MESA goes under we might very well have a home for some of those 51 airplanes down the road ( i dont know how this would work, but who knows) Basically when we kept the 69 airplanes that cost CAL a lot of money and it was a big FU to Larry & Co, now they are making us pay, its more then economics at this point, it has gotten very personal, and of course we have to pay for it.
I DO hope you realize that the 51 planes CAL is going to pull will be the 135's and 145 EP's. CAL will not make the same mistake last time of letting the XR's go.
Good luck finding ANY home's for 135's.....NO ONE wants those...PERIOD (i.e Delta CHQ 135's)
