Bad news for the flow, my LCP friend is saying that after hiring 200 a month in Q1, Delta is planning on stopping hiring later in the summer so instructors can fly the line. Then in the fall they start up again at 200 a month in order to end the year at 1100 pilots hired. Means nobody will flow for about half of 2024…

Honestly this wouldn't surprise me. We do it at AA. There's a reason we don't have new hire classes in busy months (dec/June) yes it helps the training center get caught up but it also keeps WO CA at their regional flying as no one flows.
