I was using “NEO” to refer to the P&W GTF engines. I should’ve been more specific so apologies. Word at Spirit is that even the new birds will go down eventually to get the engines inspected. I expect your new 321NEO to have the same issues here within the next 12-18 months. I think it’ll be resolved by then though so it might not be a huge deal like it is now. The A220 are faced with the same issue as they have the same engines on them.
the 220 does NOT have the same engine as the 320. Yes its a GTF, but its a PW1500G vs a PW1100G. So similar but different.
