We have a lot of pilots that are angry that we haven't been offered much better, but they themselves refuse to stop extending, stop working the busier schedules, avoid using PTOs, avoid gking to or sponsoring other to attend pickets, stop doing the company's job and not just their own- all the things that lead to getting a better offer. You are the one not listening to the "smart, balanced logical points" that the union leadership uses to explain why they didn't entertain putting this out for a vote. There is a new union survey right now. Maybe the majority will back your ideas. If not, you will continue to be very disappointed.
It will be interesting if the union offers up a demographic of those surveyed. While I know it's random a demographic of those pilots surveyed will produce a better understanding of the results. For example if a majority of the pilots surveyed has been here less than 3 years is going to produce very different results to pilots that have been here longer and are focused on different goals.
