Sheet happens. On a related note, UAL dropped 10% yesterday to a fresh 52 week low after lowering 4th qtr profit estimates. I believe Jim Morrison said it best, "the futures uncertain and the end is always near".
You might want to double check that. Yes, the stock went down 10%, but so did every other airline stock. And it was because Delta adjusted their outlook for next year down just slightly. And it was not even close to a new 52-week low. United will announce 4Q earnings on the 23rd.
