I remember reading about that dinner/meeting. That led to the company getting Allen Kashner involved in the negotiations. I don't remember seeing any communication from SWAPA that Bob Jordan or Andrew Waterson was involved in any direct negotiations. If memory serves me correctly, UAL and Delta both had their CEO's push their contracts across the finish line...
