Dual Military Flight Doc and FAA AME?
Greetings All, long-time lurker, first-time poster here.
Does anyone know of a current military flight doc—AF is probably easiest—who is also an FAA AME that can do First Class medicals? I’m actively flying in the AF but with a couple medical waivers that I believe will necessitate a Special Issuance for an FAA medical certificate. I figure it will be easier to get the SI for an FAA First Class medical if the doc doing it has his own direct system access to my records without having to go through some convoluted process with me requesting and providing records as a middleman…
I’ve done my best to search the forums for a previous thread, but didn’t find much relevant other than that AMEs with 1C privileges are few. If I’ve missed a thread with a list/link/etc., my apologies, please point me in the right direction.
