I started from the bottom.

The poorest Americans only control 3% of the wealth. That’s normal because they are the poorest, what’s shocking is it’s 66 million people in that category.

So by that, anyone who is a member controlling the other 97% of the wealth is someone to model from.

80% of population has 97% of the country’s wealth and 20% as 3% of the country’s wealth.

The poster and Obama want members of the bottom 20% 66 million people to just magically jump to top 10% 33 million people and completely ignore the nice blue color life the rest of the country not in top 10% or bottom 20% are in.

220 million people not in top 10 or bottom 20.

It’s assumed everyone wants to be on top 10 or 1 percent but it’s usually difficult to achieve and a competitive space to be in.

So Obama basically said don’t aim for top 1% aim for top 10% which is wildly unrealistic for the majority of people already in bottom 20%.

A persons life drastically improves by getting out of bottom 20% as young as possible.

Going for broke on Doctor, scientist, or engineer, is kind of bad advice for most poor people. I was never poor and never went without and no one in my family was any of those.
