Well, ALPA doesn't have a vote, but apparenlty they (along with the AFL-CIO and most likely, lobbyists and/or CEOs from the Big 3) have enough influence to prevent it so far. You've lost Schumer for crying out loud.
In fact, I think I'll up my ALPA PAC contribution right now. Thanks for the inspiration.
