I had a pax get on one of my planes and asked to switched
from the exit row. We have 737NG's so completely unrelated but all they saw was "Boeing" and "737".
Also I'm noticing a bunch more media/news reports about "Boeing" jets and incidents such as diversions, engine failures, etc such as
this divert over an oven fire. There is going to be non-stop focus on them for the forseeable future, and like you said it's going to hit Boeing hard.
Frankly, you have to wonder what else was missed. This door panel I'm sure is just the tip of the iceberg. If you were airline CEO, would you purchase a new Boeing jet nowadays?
