The media loves fear and panic because they sell, and fear and panic is the easiest thing to get stirred up amongst the masses. Whether it’s China viruses, airplanes crashing, or mass shootings, they know how to get people screaming.

Nevermind the airplanes we all used to fly with a tendency for prop over speeds, super critical wings that could handle zero ice, Air France 447’s issues, RTX engine issues, or the most recent wing spar cracking AD from the EASA on all A320 models. Boeing has contributed to this by not being better, but the media and government have been relentless. It’s like we are all rooting for the largest American exporter to fail.
