When I upgraded on the MD-88, the check airman kept saying I was doing a terrible job and not reading the NOTAMs. It wasn't until the second day that I realized he wanted me to say, "There are no NOTAMs that affect us." Me not mentioning the lack of NOTAMs in my brief meant I must not have read them. I also had to say, "nothing on the company pages to affect us." It was a LONG 4 day.
