Is the 777 schedule is similar to the 747 schedule or is it not so great?
777 routes are more scheduled type service events vs the 747 as a whole. Less schedule changes in the 777, but that may have changed with some contract flux these past several months. 74 may see quite a bit more destinations at this time, but the triple it seems is the future. Understand things change rapidly here and with short or no notice. More bells and whistles in a good way for the triple and its birth date is decades after the 74. Although the 747-400 was a good leap the 777 is five years younger. The 747-800 was an update or cleanup if you will. Engines, wings, capacity, electronic checklist and minor adjustments up front, etc., but no longer being produced at this time. 747 fleet as a whole (plenty more 400s) is an older fleet by far and we keep getting new shiny triples if that answers your question. Comfort wise I prefer the 74, but the triple guys can chime in and tell you more about their cool stuff. Sorry for the drag out just bored and I need to get back on the road.
