The newsletter implies the latter by saying they want to make BOS "an A320 base," and that it would be a "better solution than what we have now."
I wish they would clarify, because I hear guys talking about it and many are assuming there will be both fleet types in BOS.
Your post is the first time I've ever heard of this "rumor". Flipping the switch from 737 only to 320 only doesn't make much sense for such a risk-averse management team.
