Flyharm, I am just curious. Have you read all the binding arbitration ruling between AWA and USAIR. It is interesting reading and I suggest you look the entire document over. The arbitrator goes into great detail about following ALPA merger policy and why he ruled as he did. The list is now the legal seniority list for the combined operations and would be used for any future mergers. Overturning a binding arbitration ruling is harder then overturning a court decision. The lawyers will always tell you that you can't lose. I have been through two mergers and they said that in both and in other mergers I was not involved with. In the end they walked away with lots of money but never changed any seniority list.
