Ok...I don't disagree with their desire to avoid arbitration...but if avoiding arbitration means getting thrown under the bus below every single NWA pilot, I'd prefer to roll the dice and see what comes up with an arbitrator.
I think the only thing that sucks about this merger is the SLI, and we have to rely on a few guys to negotiate something that could effect us for the rest of our careers. It sucks! I too, think arbitration is the only fair way to do it. I may not think the results are fair, but I can't see another way of doing it. I think there is just too much imbalance with the senior guys left at NWA, and the higher amount of new hires at DAL then NWA. I just wish it would get done so we could all move on. But since NWA guys should be coming up to DAL or better rates I can afford to buy some rounds.
