My siutation is an early a.m. arrival in base at the a end of rotation (0759) with "20WD" beginning at 14:05 (this seems to be flight departure time. The corresponding flight blocks in ATL at 18:48 base time. That redeye leg report time is 0035, adjusted to base time. So by the time I'd be "released" from the training travel flight, some 19-ish hours after report time before my working flight. Six-ish hours of so-called rest between working a light and departure of training travel flight. These hours are 100% unsat for my body and my mind, but legality is unclear to me. I did a quick browse of the PWA and thhe ALPA Scheduling Handbook, but did not see any clear direction. Any thoughts? TIA
Training isn't rest but it isn't a FDP. Sounds legal but fatiguing to me.
