Lately, base changes have been available to nearly every NH on demand. As hiring slows, that may start to make it harder to move out of some bases, and/or into others.
Follow up question to this. I’ll be bidding after one year to get out of my aircraft that requires me to be based across the country (west coaster on an east coast based aircraft). I have my bid in with my desired aircraft/bases nearby. Can I be awarded before my 1 year is up to have training occur after a year? For example right now bids are being processed which will have people training 3-4 months from now. My concern is that I won’t be able to be awarded something until after my hire date in which case I’ll need to wait another 3-4 months for training.
