There certainly wasn't any incentive NOT to do what he did, and that's on the company. A big part of her "disappointment" was the particular days he ended up being out - days that until our new contract weren't even recognized as holidays. Again - an easy fix on the company's part, had they chosen to negotiate.
That pilot and everyone else knows exactly what he did. It’s not the BCP’s fault that there was no holiday pay in the contract. That kinda stuff is a negotiated benefit. She literally had nothing to do with that.

I kinda feel bad for them, they most likely deal with the same ~1% that cause problems, which will lead to answering your next question…

Speaking of BCP's, as someone with a consistent proclivity for blaming the people using the rules as they're written for undesired outcomes instead of blaming the people who are responsible for writing the rules in the first place, why aren't you one of them yet? You seem like a real straight shooter with upper management written all over you.
Because I deal with three children at home, and don’t want to deal with any at work.
