Hey everyone. New to the forum but I've appreciated the information I've read here.
I submitted my application Dec. 9th and haven’t heard anything. I’m concerned about the current slowdown in hiring and my lack of recent flying. Got out of the military 18 months ago and have only been flying GA (10 hours total in last year). Here's some info:
MIL pilot with 4000+ total time
3800 TT/PIC
Current ATP and Med
No check ride failures
Spotless record and bachelors degree
6 DL pilot referrals
How long have folks been waiting after application submission to hear something?
Anybody in my same boat with low recency hours?
We’re going from 200/month to 50/month in June or July. A few other airlines have slowed or stopped hiring. It’s going to be tougher and take longer than the last few years. Competition will get tougher. Do you have the ability to fly 121 regional while you wait?
