Today’s results aren’t necessarily tomorrow’s, but the last couple of vacancy bids have had limited 320 captain vacancies go unfilled in DEN and ORD. So, if you want 320 captain, you might be able to get it on the first vacancy bid after you start class.
However, if you want to stay in LAS I would go 737. As you well know, don’t believe any rumors until you actually see them happen. For what it’s worth, I’m also a former F9 captain who made the switch to UAL and opted to take the 737. I’m about to start upgrade on the 737 as well. Don’t fear the plane. She’s a good bird. Once you build up some calluses on your fingertips from all the switch flipping and you learn the art of eating crew meals on your lap without getting your uniform dirty, you may find that you like it more than the Airbus.
