Not to mention we went from 10,000 pilots in March of 2020, down to nearly 9,000 pilots in 2021, to now 11,659. If you were one of the first hired in late 2021 you’d be about 73.5% system wide in just over two years. It’s hard to look at the Covid years and consider that the normal rate of growth. No matter where you get hired now, it’s going to be behind thousands of pilots in their mid twenties going into a slowing hiring environment.
