You got me there. I just know that SWA rampers in MSY have a baskteball hoop set up on the ramp and they play between flights.
If they can come up with ideas like that for themselves, then our new ramper/CEO should have no objection to us getting Playstation 2 or DVD players on the flight deck for those long international flights.
At DAL, we start getting paid, and the flight is considered "pushed back" when the beacon is on. You can almost see the pack lifted off the rampers shoulders when that light comes on. Even if the aircraft is not completely ready when the light goes on (not that anyone I know would EVER do that) you can see the rampers won't be hung with the delay. This is quite a controversy over on the DAL side... And... it was a very lame attempt at humor on my part... sorry
