While it sucks that we have jets parked, and we are certainly in an economic slow down of some magnitude, but we are technically NOT in a recession.
Recession is not some arbitrary term used to say the economy sucks, it is determined by specific criteria, negative GDP in two successive quarters. The last 2 quarters, while small, have shown growth,.5% and .6% successively.
