The sad thing is everyone is so sure MESA is going under based more on a complete loathing for the company rathing than looking at reality. MESA is not going anywhere. Now is the time to buy them out, and yet the airlines that are in a position to do so are too busy hoping and wishing they will go under, and then they can step in and pick up the peices. By the time all the naysayers come to the conclusion that MESA is more resillient than they ever thought, it will be business as usual...Hate on MESA. Then everyone will be whining about Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda, but didnt! buy the bad ol boys out when we had the chance.

And to those telling MESA pilots to jump ship before it's too late. I wonder about your sincerity. It's easy to offer such advice when you are already gainfully employed.
