But, please don't tell me you think you have to go to a crashpad and wait out SUB. Sure, if you want guaranteed pay you need to be available to take an assignment. But you can go home without declining anything and roll the bones that they don't need you. If they call, then you just decline then. If they don't, you get paid. No need to stay in town if you'd rather go home and risk losing the pay in exchange for the option of being home.
