I personally have not heard about someone failing the review board. If you do, its because you likely lied about something. They don't do the review board until Envoy has your PRIA and Fingerprints/Drug test results back. Reasons for not being approved at the review board:

1. Failed drug test/finger print submission
2. Lied about education/employment history
3. Missing requirements for an ATP
4. Criminal history, excessive tickets, etc
5. Disgruntled partner contacting HR saying you're a bad person

Not sure if Envoy does this, but some airlines do look at your social media if they can find it.
Good insight, thank you.

I'm trying to fully understand how the AA WOs can be so different in their processes. Piedmont seems to be the easiest to get through, with barely any paper work, while Envoy puts you through the ringer and a captain's review. You'd think they'd be more similar in how they select their pilots, seeing as how they all should ideally end up at the parent company.

I guess the big question is how much input / dictation does AA have when it comes to the 3 separate WOs and how they conduct their business?
