No.
This was never going to be a widebody order, and that JonNYC guy even said the 350 rumor was a separate thing from this NB order.
This was supposed to be the order that replaces the oldest 100ish 319s and 50ish 320s. Instead they bought a service life extension from Airbus for all those 319s/320s, will finally refurbish them (more first class seats), making this order all growth (and too much of it at the regional level, replacing 50 seaters with more 76 seaters).
AA reiterated that they won't/can't afford to retire any mainline aircraft until 2030.
My guess is you'll see a widebody order to replace the 772s in 2026-2027 for 2030 deliveries and the 772s will phase out around that time. I still think it'll be 787-10s and this 350 thing was a planted leak to scare Boeing a little bit. You'll also see the order that replaces those old 319s/320s then. Hopefully they don't buy the MAX7, but they probably will.
