There were a few people with job offers to the majors who have been put on hold due to the fuel/65 ordeal. Basically movement has slowed down and being that Colgan is very reactive rather than pro-active you are getting the mixed signals as management is running with their heads cut off. I'm def seeing some slowing here in IAH for the time being.
The Q has the potential for growth with the current economic situation, but since I don't fly it, I can't say what's going on there. I do know that Lynx canceled its 10 options, is Colgan next on the list or Horizon, I don't know, but if we are we may be expanding that market at a faster rate than anticipated.
Lastly, all FOs are getting SIC types, only think we can think of is international flying, mexican border?? Someone says that there are a few flights into mexico by express that we could potentially do.
All of the above is nothing but my own best guess and or speculations take it for only that.
