What is competitive next week may no longer be competitive in April.
Take that with a huge grain of salt but if it were me and assuming you can feel comfortably ready to answer questions about your life experiences to very welcoming interviewers by next week Id go with the earliest possible interview offered. Just something to consider. Good luck!
Unless things have changed, once you get the interview invite, "competitiveness" is no longer relevant. They
want to hire you. If you score above the minimum on the interview, you
will get the CJO. IOW, at that point, it's his to lose.
To the OP, class dates are offered in order of CJO date. Only
you know if you are ready for the interveiw, and can balance that with any seniority 'hit'. If you have done your homework and prep already, and feel ready, I'd go with the soonest interview. If you have not, or have
any doubt, go with the April date. Good Luck.
