It was pretty funny the other day to hear ATL approach berating a SWA pilot descending on the downwind for being "3000 feet higher than everyone else and providing a totally unacceptable descent rate". Shocked he didn't get a phone number because he was screwing up the whole flow. Seems this cocked up technedure you guys have isn't a hit with ATC either.
I don't like the procedure, but let's not pretend that this is somehow throwing a wrench in the national airspace system.
