Suspicious, but most likely just what it appears, a suicide. The media is having a party crucifying Boeing lately, mostly over unrelated incidents, some of which have no information and range from potential pilot error to airline maintenance issues (wheel fell off 777, mysterious “exorcist” 787 falling event, several air turn-backs). Every time something happens, the news story covers it dramatically, then cryptically adds a reference to the Alaska door plug, and the 737 Max, to imply it’s all somehow a chain of failure from Boeing. Now the suicide…with “apparent” and “alleged” in quotation marks, to say, without saying “yeah, right, this guy was murdered by Boeing.” Lots of drama, no facts to support it. The drama sells advertising, though.
It's crack cocaine for the conspiracy junkies.
It may be a murder. As yet, however, there is no evidence to support that, other than wild speculation. It may be better to wait for the facts, and see where they lead.
