Also the pause in hiring announcement was before the decision to convert the MAX-10 to MAX-9s and keep deliveries coming. So who knows what will actually happen.
I bet we'd get all of Airbus's close in deferrals if it included an Airbus WB order with actual near-term delivery dates.
Yes, but those slots are not going to come cheap or easy. There’s a premium United will have to pay for those earlier A321 slots….. By all means, I don’t think United is the only carrier fighting for those slots either….. We shall see, A330s aren’t happening though lol. That rumor needs to die.
The right move in opinion is to use near term slots to keep being certified aircraft onto property and get some kickback on delays…..
