Both are the same combined .293/.297 checkride. Long recurrent just adds 2 additional sims and 4 days of ground school (2 days of company 135/91k and 2 days of aircraft specific stuff).
And based on 135.247, long recurrent should count as the night currency for 12 months (6 or more t/o and landings to full stop) and short is basically a 90-day (3 t/o and landings to full stop)? And both are "flight reviews?"
