Current schoolhouse rumor is that United is once again looking to purchase Frontier to alleviate their Boeing issue. If you are at Frontier and considering going to United, do you want to be at the bottom of the seniority list or on the merged list?
Even if it were true the gov't would once again say that prices would go up and it's hurting the consumer. Not going to happen. Also UAL can't do a hostile share take over and would have to agree to Franke's absurd price tag.
