Even without some big shutdown of the MAX program it would be responsible of SWA to split their capacity between at least 2 separate fleets. Look at how the legacies all have already done this with the NB capacity divided between Boeing and Airbus.
Absolutely. The great irony is WN is partly responsible for the mess that is the 737 Max. Reaping isn’t nearly as fun as sowing. I guess we'll soon see how much it's changed their corporate strategy.
