In all seriousness though, I would need the mindset to shift and for us to actually take some risks as a company in order for me to not want to consider leaving. My worst fear is that I stay at Southwest for 35+ years hoping things change and we adapt, but never do.
Management needs to realize that if we don’t change the mindset, we will be left behind. One thing that Delta does so well is that they are always looking ahead.
DL looking ahead on how to make money without having to actually pay their pilots…joint ventures, regional jets, etc. Fewest WB of the big 3, brought the RJ whipsaw to the industry….not exactly who I want this airline to be like.
