I need to get this thing. My boss has a Merlin IIIB Fairchild and he wants me to fly it with him when I'm not training students. However he cannot sign me off. The general manager has approx. 25k hrs and has flown everything from C5's, C-130's, C141, you name it. Also as CFI for many years after retiring from the airforce. He however cannot give me the endorsement either because he lost his medical due to high blood pressure. He can pretty much teach everything under the sun. Knows an incredible amount. So I don't really care how crappy my training would be somewhere else. But how do I get my high altitude signoff? I'm the only CFI within 50miles or so. I'm so swamped with students I can barely see strait. Is there a place where I can pick one up quickly and cheaply?
