Reviving this thread for this question. Heading to new hire class next month and I'm stoked. Anyway, as for now I will be a commuter. Gross, I know. My wife has put up with my career for years and now and our next move is to CLT to be closer to her family (probably not for at least 3 or 4 years though). We live northeast of CVG and NY is the easiest commute although CLT has 6 flights a day so not awful. However, I know LGA is junior so that's what I'm expecting. Until we make the move, does the airplane in NYC matter when it comes to QOL? I know commuting to reserve is a bad decision, but it is what it is for now and I'll make it work. Would I have similar QOL on the 320 vs the 73? Are the trips comparable on the 320 vs the 73 (want to maximize my days off so are trips higher credit on one airplane vs the other)? Would I hold a line quicker on one airplane vs the other?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and I look forward to joining you all soon.
