Human nature is real? People support things that help them at a possible expense to others? It establishes reverse discrimination as a balance to years of discrimination? It is a form of reparations?
It's a pendulum Quotas.... DEI....Status Quo. DEI is kinda like a transgender...not quite a Quota... not quite Status Quo( not meant ot be offensive...DEI is kinda a tweener)
Nothing to base it on, but it wouldn't surprise me if a "minority" pilot supportes DEI initiatives and as time goes by, after being hired at a legacy, their DEI support wanes(due to LJ Driver's thoughts). They want to feel they earned it fair and square, and initiatives that
might have an appearance of "Unearned rewards" possibly besmirching their accomplishments, garners less support. Just a possible, logical supposition based on "Human Nature".
Then again, I could be wrong.
