On Hawaiian metal a snapshot of the jumpseat is taken at 24 hours prior to departure. In seniority order the first two get it on the 330. Assume the same with the 321neos. Listing within 24 hours of the departure its seniority based, however no matter how senior one person is they cannot bump out anyone who locked it in at the 24 mark.
If the LDMCR on the 330 is not being used most captains are cool with you going down there for most of the flight. Get in the voggers group on FB once you start indoc.
Thanks! So just to be clear, if a seat is open inside of 24 hours and two people are vying for it, the senior person could bump out the junior person if the senior person selects later? When you're looking for flights, do you see what seniority numbers are bidding? Are there enough people commuting from the midwest for this to be a challenge or is it relatively reliable?
