Low Timers in Hiring Pools
It seems after reading posts on a few message boards that many of you plan on just sitting around at mom and dads house and waiting for class 2-3+ months from now.
This could probably be one of the bigger mistakes you could make out of your short flying career thus far. Keep flying whatever you are flying, and don't be slackers, log that time, and get at least 135 IFR minimums before you feel, oh hey I got a job, I'm gonna slack now.
You may be extremely sorry with your poorly made decision of sitting on the couch for a few months, waiting. Things change so fast in this business, if you are looking at a class 3+ months from now, there's a good change it will be rescheduled, or possibly cancelled due to fuel costs, and consolidation of legacy carriers.
