Everything is a waiting game and mirrors the government in many ways. Plenty of paperwork, proof required/medical assessments, etc., but retro pay back for waiting a few months is based upon your application dates with validation dates is key. Do not wait too long when filing and hopefully you have some sick days accrued prior to the event. Nothing required, just makes it easier so always do your computer based training early cuz ya never know when a few Benjamins helps
