It varies, and this is just one data point: Looking only at this month, the very last person to get a line was at about 95%, but you don't see any consistency until closer to 90%, and in MSP closer to 85%. How long will it take you to get to those percentages? That's a much harder question to answer. Supposedly, we have front-loaded our hiring for this year, and will have a much lower rate the rest of the year, so it will take longer than those hired in the last few years experineced. That said, reserve isn't bad here, at all. Especially if you live in base.

As to how many SC's, realize that trips are assigned first, and those remaining without a trip are where they assign SC's. So, if you are getting hammered with Open Time trips, you may never be in a position to get even one SC. But when there aren't a lot of Open Time trips, and lots of folks are available for SC, you might get more. Historically, you could expect maybe 1-2 a month. With our new contract, they seem to be handing out more SC's to cover the longer lead-time for Long Call (went from 12 to 18 hours), so expect maybe a couple extra a month, so maybe 3-4 on average. There may be occasional months where you get the maximum of 6, however. Expect to get used off SC a minority of the time (IOW, most SC periods you will not get a trip, and will just sit there. Again, it's great if you live in base).
