People complain about TTS (trip trade system), and I agree that it is more complicated than it needs to be. That being said, I traded out of every single trip on my original award and essentially created my entire schedule this month. People will come at me and say I got lucky or it's base specific, and there is some truth to the second part. Regardless, our ability to trade trips is generally better than people claim. Trip dropping is completely base specific from my experience.
I have yet to fly a trip that was originally awarded to me. I change out the entire month every month since I have been a line holder. I think most just don't want to learn how to use it and would rather ***** and moan instead.
