You MAY have a point if we wore formal dress all year. We do not. It's only required 4 months a year and even then not required 100% of the time. The time when your passengers see you most, you're 99% chance of not wearing your jacket. It's just so silly to make comparisons between our uniform and lawyers in court rooms, supreme allied commanders and doctors in office hours dress.
