I understand how the passenger carriers operate, and it is much different than an OVER NIGHT freight company. I guess too many people got caught up in the people posting that it was easy for a second year FO to make over $300,000 here at one point. Hope things are going well for you at American. You’re right, the AM O&B lines would be the exception to what I said. Some even credited ~7 hours per day (GTF for example) due to hard block time. Those lines went quite senior while I was there and there weren’t many of them on my fleet.
It’s not about being angry, it’s about providing an honest picture of the operation as well as realistic expectations.
